Standard ICMP ping commands are frequently blocked by cloud firewalls and hosting providers. This tool measures latency by performing standard TCP connection handshakes to HTTP (80) or HTTPS (443) ports over 4 iterations, reporting averages, loss, and jitter.

Understanding Ping Metrics
- Round-Trip Time (RTT): The time in milliseconds it takes for a data packet to travel to the host and back. Lower RTT means faster response times.
- Packet Loss: The percentage of test connections that failed. A high percentage indicates severe network congestion or server firewall blocks.
- Jitter: The variance in latency times between successive runs. High jitter indicates network instability.
